How to Care for Original Works on Paper 

We can offer specific advice about the ongoing care of any of the paper artworks in our collection. Mounting in shadow boxes, for example, is advisable for layered paper artworks. There again, archival mats and backing tend to be worth it when framing watercolor art. Accidental bumps and smudging can be an issue with all artworks on paper. For this reason, we suggest you avoid displaying them in areas of high footfall, such as immediately at the entrance of your home, for instance.
