evered as a master of abstraction and assemblage, New Zealand-born, Australia-based artist Rosalie Gascoigne came to art later in life. First exhibiting at the age of 57 her work is now held in collections around the world including the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
Perhaps her most recognisable work, 'Metropolis' was created in 1999 using cut-up and reassembled retro-reflective roads signs.
