Caring for Artistic and Decorative Woodwork

For carved wood art that will be displayed outside, we recommend an elevated position somewhere excessive moisture or wind exposure won't cause premature aging. Resealing and removing mildew a couple of times a year is advisable, especially in coastal areas. Indoors, maintaining humidity levels between 40 and 60% can help to prevent wooden wall art from cracking or warping. Don't mount decorative woodwork directly over radiators. Dusting with a microfiber cloth is often sufficient for maintenance purposes but seek professional guidance if you notice staining or fading.
